This looks like a custom to me with a flavor of an old 60's Italian or Japanese bass. Quite a look. I can't figure out who the bass player is. Maybe that would help?

At first I thought Wendler, but I didn't see signs of this design in their photo gallery.

Hmmm. But despite that webpage saying they have a bad sound, it seems to do a psuedo upright sound pretty good.

I have one of those and it's not a great instrument. It's beefy and built well out of solid materials but it's a little short the craftmanship and design department in terms of playability. Cool looking though!

I can't figure out who that bass player is. Seeing as the singer is maybe Brazilian or Argentinian, perhap the player is as well? Anyway, I'm wondering if that hardware is still completely stock. Maybe he had the bobbins rewound and the pots replaced. For that matter, he could have just bypassed the pots altogether.
