OK, OK, I know I'm rationalizing BUT - I just turned 70 and decided to celebrate for the rest of the year. This has been a grail bass for a while: Marleaux Contra Heiko Jung Signature 5. The Heiko Jung upgrade is just a bonus, though. I would have been content with a standard model Anyway, this was listed on Luthiers Access Group and despite the price was still a seriously good deal. Thanks, Dan! Given the current economic situation it was clear to me that I would not likely ever have a better opportunity. I'm still navigating the operation of the controls but it's a great player and crazy versatile! String spacing at bridge 19mm (adjustable). Nut width: 1 3/4". Nice and roomy!
