Another newbie!

Hi all,
I'm Leigh, have played bass on an off for over 40 years though am no expert. I bought my first bass (A Coronet) in the 70's. I then picked up guitar to become a better bassist and hardly played bass for the next 40 odd years. I sold that bass to move to Darwin (NT) and regret it. Strangely enough, I was introduced to a Rickenbacker soon after I purchased the Coronet and preferred the Coronet! Move forward to 2003 and I finally returned "home" (SA) and purchased a Yamaha bass (tuned BEAD) which was damaged in floods not long after I arrived here so it was only used for a short time playing with friends who were travelling and playing in various churches around country SA. I replaced that with a Washburn Taurus five string which sat on the shelf for about ten years whilst I nursed my late wife. I am just getting back into playing along with my acoustic and electric in my Church.

Anyway, that is a potted history. Look forward to learning more!
