Another P/J wiring question

Hi!
I wasn't sure if adding this question to an older somewhat similar post was best… So, I'm asking the question again.

Goal: To switch quickly between the two pickups without rolling the volumes up and down. Retain the ability to blend between these two pickups.

I'm confused by the wiring lingo of series/parallel and such… I'd like to know what is needed to achieve the 'goal' in my P/J bass. Currently V-V-T knob configuration.

When I do blend using the volume knobs, I mostly use only a little bit of bridge and still max the neck.
I thought a switch would work. Thinking a middle position or something would retain the ability to blend these two pickups when needed?

I'd appreciate a wire diagram too if anyone has one?

Pickups being used are Seymour Duncan SPB-4 Neck and STK-J2B at Bridge.

Again, in simple terms for my simple mind please,
Thank you!
