Another pickguard choice

I picked up a Sterling short scale Stingray like this in dropped copper. The white guard is not doing it for me at all.

I'm thinking either anodized gold, black or a nice tort.

Other suggestions welcome.

If it were mine, I'd go all out on it and give it a blue-patinated copper look, even if it was just an image transfer layered over the preexisting pickguard. Specifically, blue though. As much as I dig a green patina, it might make that dark copper finish look a bit too "Christmas'y".
