Another Post about practice amps (HELP)

OK I had planed to order the Ashdown perfect 10, got busy and never could. But from reading some of the post I think the Ashdown would be a good choice, but I see a lot of people mentioning the Ibanez SW35. Is one better then the other (I don't know anything about amps I'm a sax player)? Either one will be lightyears better than the Eleca amp I am replacing. Its just for practice in my room, no jaming or anything like that. If it helps I am "playing" (still trying to learn the basics) jazz, and have a Cort B4 which is active. I really don't want to spend more that $150, since this is only for practicing in my room being put in a corner and left there. Thanks.

Seems to me that when you are looking to get a practice amp and are looking to spend less than 150 bones then what you get really doesn't matter as long as it's not utter crap. I am not one to have tried a lot of practice amps but I do know that it's like comparing the value of a US penny to the Canadian penny, the value really is insignificant until you start getting into the higher dollar brackets. ya dig?
