If that's your ideal setup, then just go straight for that. Don't compromise for the sake of brand matching, especially with such a great variety of available, lightweight 210s.I really was considering 3 2x10s, that's my ideal setup.

You are welcome. I hope you get a rig that you love.Probably the most helpful response I've gotten, thanks.
That's true too. Any recommendations? If that's your ideal setup, then just go straight for that. Don't compromise for the sake of brand matching, especially with such a great variety of available, lightweight 210s.
This would be my strategy, or better yet, two 8 ohm 2x10 instead to start with, then add a third later if necessary. You could avoid all the confusion and get an 8 ohm 2x10 cab that would match perfectly with a 4 ohm 4x10.

I'm digging a pair of GK cx210 I got recently. Notable for the greater height (19") than most, so when stacked taller than a typical 410.Exactly what my plan would be. Just have to find some 210s I like enough.

NotNot so much sounding “bad”, as that the 4 ohm cab will be about twice as loud as the 8 ohm cab. That’s one of the reasons identical cabs are recommended.
