Another unbelievable Ebay price

I don't even...I mean its literally THE most expensive bass on the site. Even more than the $50,000 Status. Can someone explain how this price makes any sort of sense? His description is pretty...well after the first few lines I felt he was pulling it all out his ass and stopped reading. I know Wishbasses can get pricey, but $75,000? I think thats a little ridiculous.

naw... he was just kidding... read the post on ebay.

he just did it for shock value. if you made him an offer of 4 or 500.00 he would take it... he was just funnin' ya.

All marketing schemes aside; if you check out the video it does have a beautiful tone, even played outdoors with all the wind/windchime noise.

you know, that's one thing that seems universally agreed on. wishbasses sound good! i have never ever seen one being played by a musician in a group on tv or even live, but the sound is awesome.

given that you can sink some serious $ into completion of one and the fact that they sound so good, you would think someone out there could swallow his snobbery and actually use one.

The seller is a well regarded TBer that does superb quality refins on Wishbasses. He uses multiple marketing tactics and has explained them in detail many times over.

$75,000 or "Best Offer" certainly got your attention:hiding:

...

edit: oh ok i got it. the extremely expensive price is for shock value.

Nope, it's just a way to get to the top of a search listing for anyone searching 'high to low'.

I don't know about you, but when I'm searching on eBay, if it's not for a particular bass maker then 'high to low' is what I do.

Listing a bass this way doesn't cost any more than listing one for a BIN of $650, but the difference is you get the listing across about 4 times as many folks.

I usually go low-high, but ask my wife, I'm cheap!
