Have you had this for a while? I think I remember seeing a purple Gecko fiver on TB somewhat recently.
Great looking bass either way though, I have a warmoth deluxe 5 J-bass and love the quality of the parts. Love the contrast of the purple and the mahogany.

I paid 1100 for it and then i changed the electronics to barts (from emg) and aguilar preamp (from emg) that was another 300. plays mint. very easy. great action, nice b string. a little bright sounding (due to the all wenge neck?)Charr said:SWEEET!!! whats did it set you back?? and which eletronics did you go with??

LOVE that top. That purple is killer!
I would've had the back and sides painted black, but I agree with Slava, the purple + mahogany looks fine.
