Any Budget Basses With a 7.25 Fingerboard?

Title pretty much says it all... I can't seem to find a bass under $600 with a 7.25 fingerboard. Maybe I'm missing something though?

Didn’t the original run of Sire Jazzes have 7.25”, and they flattened it out with version 2? Or am I misremembering?

I’m a fan of 7.25” (or 7.5” on my G&Ls).

All of them! The #5 bass neck is wider and the #6 is narrower (1.5" at the nut). My favorites were made in 1995-1998, whoever made the necks back then was amazing. The #5 is supposed to be 1.75" wide at the nut but they were sometimes as narrow as 1.625".

You are from the US?? I think you can find japanese Reissue p bass, with 7.5 at that price?

Keep in mind that the factory sometimes puts a later 6 bolt neck onto a 3 bolt body when the original neck goes bad, and the newer necks are either 12" or 9.5" radius. The best way to check for an older neck is to look at the wood past the last fret. Shorter is 3 bolt era, longer is 6 bolt era and likely wrong radius. The factory still offers 7.5", nearly all of my orders have a #6 with 7.5" radius.
