Any cable builders out there?

How bad? Not very. I'm looking at different ways to use my markbass 151, carvin bx500 head, and epifani cab. I can easily add the epifani to the markbass... But the speaker from the markbass has a 1/4" male end. It would be nice to use both speakers with the carvin. Yeah, i could just use a 1/4" coupler and 1/4" cable.

Let's get this straight....the male fits nicely inside the female...it's not rocket science folks. While I have seen a few custom cables with female ends for various "rigging stuff together" purposes, I have never seen an amp or cab with a male out, nor have I seen a "normal" speaker cable with a female in.;)

The markbass combo has a 1/4" male end that goes into the amp head. I have another head I'd like to use but the cable from the markbass won't reach..... So 1/4" male from MB speaker -> 1/4" female -> 1/4 male or speakon -> amp.... That way I could use either the markbass hear carvin head with the markbass speaker.

You just need an "extension" speaker cable to reach the other amp, that's all. You can easily solder that together yourself, and likely be better, or at least as good as, whatever thing it is you'll end up buying from somewhere.

You have if they're Speakon. They deviate from the usual nomenclature in that the amp and speaker sockets are male, the cable plugs are female.

Potentially everyone. Making cables is no more complicated than changing a set of strings.
