Mine are also unmarked... 3 pins one side and 2 the other suggests balanced to unbalanced, not sure how you'd check though?

This week's entertainment - isolation transformers for my desktop Thumb compressor build's XLR i/o... and if one Thumb task wasn't enough my PedalPCB version has arrived which will make my third build of the circuit. You can probably guess I like this compressor
I've got the PedalPCB Engineers Thumb but haven't assembled it yet, it's probably still a ways down the pipeline. I'm looking forward to your opinions on it since you've built a few different versions.

They really do. If I REALLY like the pedal I might order a top plate with engraved/infilled text from them.
I may also see if I can have the DXF file printed to scale on a durable sticker material, like a bumper sticker.
I had a few minutes to play around with it, add some more potential switches and pots. I also flipped the CCA and spaced the pots closer, so I would use solder lug pots and wire to the board. I have some time to figure it out and play with options.
The blue outlines show the physical size of the components. Jacks are at the top corners, I'll probably only have room for 1 loop (would I really even need 2?)

i finished it late yesterday so i really haven't run it thru it paces much yet. i just plugged it in to make sure that everything was working properly and i'm happy to say that it is.
The work you do on enclosures is just wonderful. I see the pedals you post in here and they just blow me away. Great craftsmanship!
Thanks for the above info, I might try and lay either the Fuzzdog or Madbean schemo for perf.
BTW, my Fireaxe arrived today
, but I have no plan of attack for it — not a graphic not even a name.It came with the Flunkee I ordered, AND I found my freebie Flunkee along with some other MadBean PCBs fallen behind a bookcase (aircon went on the fritz, so was repairing that and had to shift some things around), so I guess that's one package that I didn't send to Canucka afterall... Means I could-of should've already built the Flunkee, now two what to do!?!
Actually, one Flunkee is reserved for a MFX, my Prison Rabbit build... one for stand alone — facing the same dilemma as the Fireaxe — no name, no graphic, no concept.
Such a tease...

@ficelles I'll try one of the little transformers out in a BazzFuss, that way I can't pooch too much if something goes horribly awry.
Here's another Madbean finished last week. Glasshole (Mutron Phasor II clone). Steps are marked with colored LED's arranged as the heat of a flame. Used a mini liqueur bottle cap over the LDR section. Made a minor modification to the drill template for side jacks. Hand brushed "tribute" theme.
Waiting on an LTC1144 that should be here tomorrow, then I can finish. I could leave as is and run only at 9 volts but wheres the fun in that. Looks like Im going to have to build an 18 V charge pump. Vero or pcb , hmm decisions, decisions. Guess Ill see which takes up less space. Careful F Feline, you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat, lol. Honestly, its nothing spectacular but to me it sounds great. Cant wait to see if the increase in voltage is worth the price of the chip. Time will tell.

Getting a bit busy in there with isolation transformers, power switch and battery but I think it's finished... my desktop Engineer's Thumb comp/pre with jack and XLR I/O.

i finally finished all three of the Dunwich DIY Bass OD's:
Here kitty kitty, lol. Finally done. Had issues with the LTC1144. Couldn’t get it to stop having a high pitch whistle so I decided to keep it 9v only. Got tired of messing with it and I’m not a very patient person. Thus the brushed look instead of polished. I buy blem boxes at a little lower price. They are meant more to paint. But again I don’t like waiting for paint to dry, lol.

two of them are builds for TB members that requested them while i was buying the PCBs from Oshpark. the third one is for myself.
Im waiting on my boards to be delivered. They appear to fabricate and ship fairly quickly. I ordered and 2 days later received notice that they we being made at that very moment. Honestly , I expected it to take longer.

It's very good for bass in that it's not a circuit that colours the sound (unless you flick the Bright switch), very much a utility pedal. Just about to embark on version 3 of the circuit (PedalPCB Thumb Sucker) for a smaller enclosure.
