This is my 100th DIY Pedal !!!
I really like this flanger. Was already a fan of the Electric Mistress and this lived up to expectations. This pedal was much easier to build and calibrate compared to the LectricFx Flintlock which also uses a MN3007 BBD and 1590BB sized.

Fresh off the bench. I tried a different art approach on this one. Painted enclosure oil rubbed bronze. Once that cured I made a stencil for the graphics then clear coat. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it so I didn’t take my time with it like I should have. It was pretty much a practice run. Overall I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out. Sounds great too. I had my own pcbs made.

my latest, the "Covert Preamp" (Chase Tone Secret Preamp clone).since the secret preamp is one of my favorite pedals of all time (an always on pedal!), i just had to make one so i have TWO of them.

Nice one @johnk_10! I have considered building one of these for guitar. I have already built an Aion Ares (Clinch EP-Pre) which is supposed to be very similar but with an added output buffer, have you tried it or compared them?

yes, i have a Clinch effects one (the most accurate Echoplex preamp) and an Xotic EP pre (not really and an EP preamp circuit) and i like all of them. the Chase Tone is one of the simplest designs (except for the 22 volt charge pump circuit) but it adds a certain something that the others don't. it fattens up my g string and is my favorite of the three. it also smooths out distortion, OD and fuzz pedals like no other. the Chase Tone might be my favorite pedal of all time. IMO, the Chase Tone is only $119 and is a real bargain.

I finally wrapped this one up. PedalPCB's Delegate Compressor, Boneyard Edition.
It's not exactly what I was looking for on bass , but I'll keep it around to play with here and there.

Isn’t it interesting how pedals work differently for different folks?! I had a Chase Tone Secret Preamp and it didn’t do any of that for me. Which EQ setting do you use and where is your Volume knob?

First half, so to speak, is a Mastotron (BOOM) and a Dark Meathead (SLAM), with an order switch.
Then there's an (LM386) octave fuzz (SLAP) and a Peach Fuzz (BANG), also with an order switch.

i haven't been able to recreate what the chase secret pre does with any type of eq, bet it parametric, graphic or both.

Really cool, and I love the graphics! How did you get the graphics on?

That might explain it. I found the dark setting too… dark. Lol. Although there is less EQ impact at lower volume positions. All good. One man’s tonal bliss is another man’s “Yeah, that doesn’t do anything for me.”
