i used to mess around trying to mix techno on a pair of cheap turntables when i was younger. still got 'em somewhere.

nowadays i occasionally do a 'dj slot' at friends' nights, but i really just turn up with a pile of CDRs, get drunk and play the Stooges, the Sonics, the Kingsmen and stuff like that all night.

EDIT no doubt disgracing the craft for proper DJs :) ...i never claimed to be bona fide...
