Any doom listeners here?

I like the music, but it sounds more like metalcore than doom to me...

I'm in a funeral doom band myself, if anyone's interested in the genre (link in my signature).

No the original singer has been back for a while now, they had the singer and guitarist from this band ( Link Removed ) fill in for a little while but ended up kicking them both out and getting the guy on the i am god songs recording back. Sorry for saying 'guy' and 'dude' so much, I'm just trying not to name drop over the net haha

Damn, that really sucks they can't seem to keep people. ha

The Doom that's been getting the most spin over here recently is Acid King's split with Wino's sideproject and Ocean's newest.

I still haven't gotten near any decent speakers, though, so I can't comment on how Admiral Angry sounds.

For anyone in the Los Angeles area who enjoyed the songs on Admiral Angry's page, they have a show this thursday with a Danzig cover band fronted by a chick! now thats just too metal

The drummer in that band is great I also like the slowed down meshuggahy feel. As far as the bass tone goes it sounds like meshuggah's where its there but you can barely make it out
