ANY EPI UL210 USERS

In combination with the amps you're using, and the style of music you are playing, this would be quite sufficient in my opinion. I have used my 210UL in combination with Glockenklang Soul and Epi 502UL in medium sized clubs. I usually elevate the cab a good way off the floor so that I can hear myself better.
I also have Epi 112UL, and to be honest, in most cases I prefer that cab in a stand alone situation. It's plenty loud and by itself it sounds even better in smaller venues, a more smoother sound with tonnes of low end. Combining both cabs is the ultimate in sound for me. I would definitely try out both the 210 and the 112 before making your decision.
Can't help you with the Schroeder, no experience with that cab unfortunately.

I owned the 210UL and also play Schroeder's.
My answer to your specific question is probably no. The UL210 is one of the lowest voiced Epi cabs... it really puts out some deep low end. That might sound like a good thing, but the rather scooped sound of that cab really got lost in the mix IME versus other Epi cabs like the 112UL mentioned above. It's a great sounding cab, and VERY lightweight but quite large for a 210. It is as loud as most other 210's, but again that extended low end and lack of a lot of mid punch really make it sound nice at home but rather weak in a mix IMO.
That's the bad news. The good news is, the Epi310UL is just a little bit larger than the 210UL, just a little more expensive, and still very lightweight (47 pounds). It sounds very similar to the 210UL, but the extra driver and larger box size allows it to project much better. It's a GREAT cab for what you are looking for IMO.
The Schroeders... The 1212L is even louder than the 310UL, but sounds VERY different... more low mid punch and the highs are sizzlier and not quite as smooth. It is smaller than the Epi210UL, and weighs about 41 pounds.
IME, players that played through my Epi310UL almost unanimously like it, while players that played through my various Schroeder's where about 50% positive, 50% 'not for them'.
So, if you can't try them out prior to purchase, the 310UL is the 'safe bet'. If very small and very loud are imortant, the Schroeder's can't be beat!

tough call without knowing your band's volume.
the schroeder will be massively loud enough for most anything. but it is a weighty son, especially when compared to the light as a feather epifani, which is literally the lightest 2x10 i've ever carried.
but i say get the epifani. it'll make a great smaller sized, lighter cab when your back is saying no to your current schroeder 1212.

I've used many Epi's, and I agree with Ken, the UL210 might be a risk for a stand alone cab, gigs and venues will vari. A safe bet is the UL310, not much bigger or heavier and deffinately better tonal voicing.
But as Ken says about the Schroeder's, some people like em and some don't, I've never had the opportunity and pleasure to play through one, but hopefully soon I'll be able to try out the 1212L.

I can see where the Ul310 would be better than a Ul210, I was looking at the 40lb cab weight. I had trouble carrying the Sch 1212R (about 55 lb) up and down stairs, old age creepin in!!! I'll just try carrying 47lb up and down some stairs and see how it goes.
For outdoor jobs the Ul310 stacked atop a 1212R would be killer.

I used to have the UL-210 and made the upgrade to UL-310 about 5 months ago.
I'd initially stayed away from the 310 due to the extra weight/size, but I can honestly say it's a marginal difference and the extra power is well worth it. The 310 is my 'go to' cab of choice.

i struggled with the same concerns and decided to spend a few extra bucks, finally going with two ul-112's. covers all but the biggest venues and gives me some options. great little cab(s)...

i loved my 310, but in some freak accident, i became a lazy bum, and wanted something that didnt make me sweat, yet was loud enough for the smaller low to medium volume settings, which the ul210 is perfect for.
course, my pair of ul112's are even better! sooooo freakin' light, and yet plenty loud enough to kick anyone to the back wall. and yes dave, i totally blame you.

I agree. Two UL112's with your Eden amp will definitely handle small to medium sized rooms. I've played many gigs using a WT400 and two Berg 1X12 cabinets and I'm sure the Epi's will work just as well as the Berg's. A single UL210 might be ok, but since you are playing in a trio, you probably need more booty. I can tell you from experience that a pair of UL210's will handle any situation, but this is a costly option. Also, the UL112 cabinets weigh only 30 lbs. I think there is a pair of UL112 cabinets for sale on this forum.

Then I made a trip from Altoona Pa. down to Alexandria Va. to Jive Sound, he has all the cabs I wanted to try. I liked both the Epi and the Schro but the size of the Epi ul112 was impressive. I took the Epi 112 he had in stock and another is on its way.
By the way Jong at Jive Sound was great to deal with, I would recommend him. Check out his site at jivesound.com, they have all the toys.

as loud as most 4x10's i've owned, and the most cutting and kicking 1x12 cabs ever.
yet, they both easily fit in the trunk of my honda accord; while taking one on the bus, subway, whathaveyou is much easier than you'd think.
one of my fav rigs/cabs ever.
