I've got an LTD F-205 that i smashed onstage on night years ago.. Claimed it on insurance and got my EBMM Stingray5 out of it so it wasn't all bad.. Would really like to find a replacement neck for it.. Anyone know where a good place to look would be??
I've got a B-155 and I've had it for four years and I quite like it. I don't think the quality is amazing as I have trouble with bits falling off. The playability is good though, the neck is a nice feel for me, and the action can be set quite low, all it needs is a good set up. I'm quite fond of the tone also, it kind of has that gospel sound, especially slapped.
I have a B-154DX and I like it just fine. Looks great Has a very nice tone, and its a keeper.I almost didnt buy it because of the basswood body but it has a flame maple top and a very nice red trans finish so at least the front wont get dinged up.I treat my basses extremely well so I would expect it to last the rest of my time.I dont have any problems with playing any style of music with it so not just for metal.Looks rather tame compared to my Westone Pantera.Good bass.
For the past 5 years I've been playing a B-2005 (30th anniversary series). Have been playing it passive with Nordstrand Big Singles for over 2 years now. I'm gonna put the EMG's back in soon to sell it. It's time for something new (more strings for one), but it has always treated me nothing but great!!!!! Played over 100 gigs with it, never one problem!!!
