Any help would be appreciated

I play through an ampeg PF500 head paired with an ampeg svt 810 cab.
I usually use a quarter inch speaker cable from my head to my cab.
Recently at a gig I was playing, my rig got knocked over, and both the quarter inch output jack I was using on the head, and the quarter inch input on the cab were snapped off.
so I had to start using the speakon jack. The only problem is, it's only running four of my 8 speakers, and the head only has one speakon output jack.
I can still get the head to work out if the quarter inch jack, but when I plug into either of the remaining two quarter inch spots on the cab, I'm still only gettin sound out of the bottom four speakers.
When I bought the cab, the guy who sold it to me said as long as I don't have anything plugged into any of the other jacks it didn't matter what one I used, it would still run all eight speakers.
Is there some kind of trick im not understanding? Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Get the jacks fixed on your cab and amp. Could be loose wires back there waiting to get into the wrong place.

Yup, or somethings come undone inside. Need to get that cab open and investigate. If you don't know how it should be wired, best to get it to someone who does. The amp may also need to be looked at. Look into the 1/4" holes, anything stuck in there?
