He'd probably tell you himself if you comment on a video.
It looks great, and he's clearly talented, but I don't care for the "hollowness" of the piezo tone (hollow in a bad way, like lacking bottom end). Would like to hear the bass mic'd or with more of the neck pickup blended in.

Youtube is algorithmically powered. Talkbass isn't.
I don't Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. for what it's worth.
To my ears, there are a lot of dissonant overtones. Maybe the bass sounds better in a mix?
You watched the video and linked it here. That gives YouTube plenty of info on you, correlatable with your mail and browsing habits.
It doesn't matter if you're using ad blockers and cookie blockers because they also track you by behavioral details like your browser window size. A naive approach to browser privacy is nearly indistinguishable from no approach at all.
So because I linked a video, I should just participate in the platform fully because they now know what I had for dinner last Thursday and my shoe size? That's not a very sound argument.

Yes, you should participate fully because social media platforms aren't satisfied with taking your data from you, they'd much rather you volunteer it to them as a gesture of submission and compliance. Neither do I. Never did either. This place is about as much of an internet social site as I ever participated in. Pretty much the only one too other than some professional IT/technically focused communities I was involved in purely for business reasons .
Still, I don't really see where the fact YT runs an algorithm to power its user recommendation and ad selection subsystems matters for anything as far as dropping a comment goes. But whatever. I mostly asked because I was just curious.

Well, if you're not willing to ask him neither am I, but as far as my google searching ability goes I don't see a reference to a manufacturer so I'm thinking it's a one-off for the artist in question.
