Any idea what would cause this?

Now that's a lot of daddy long legs!

22 posts before someone calls 'em daddy long legs....?

No idea what would cause that.

Solution: Shop-vac. Spray some Raid into it. Turn it on, and suck 'em in. follow it up with more raid. Cap the nozzle, and wait till the next day to empty it out.

And I'd let it sit out overnight. :ninja:

Those arachnids are harmless though, IIRC.

Creepy though!

You could give em all tiny little tap shoes and make em dance to the music.....:hyper:

Seriously though...that is just freaky. It does look like they are making a shillouette of a bass gyuitar though...maybe they came to hear you play?

BTW, my honest suggestion is call the bug man and have him get rid of them and treat for any youngins.....

I came across a setup like that when I was out hiking near Austin once. It was weird because the whole thing was kind of pulsating because all the spiders were bouncing up and down a little.
