Any info on LOG Lakland?

Hi,

I was looking at the Lakland website and it said LOG was designing a LTD. edition bass with Dan. Any info on it? I don't know because I'm a member and not sure if it's worth the $26 .

You might be thinking of this bass. See post #9. The reason it took so long is no one could agree on the exact specs. (Shocking for TBers, right?)

The LOG bass referred to on Lakland's site is one we've only been talking about since the website went up in March. We're still in the midst of designing it on the site, through polls.

The LOG LTD edition bass is a reality this time....

As GregC mentioned, we have been voting on it piece by piece on the LOG web site (Link Removed)

It has been voted on and approved that it will be a holow body and will have Chi-sonic pickups (not sure if we have a choice between single/double coil but I will check when we get that far) and a RW neck with dots (sorry block lovers - me included!)

we are now gathering recommendations from the LOG members as to what the color will be....we all expect this to be the most controversial vote! there are ALOT of great and unique suggestions.

once the bass and logistics of ordering are completed, we will open it up for anyone to buy....LOG members get first dibs and we MAY work out a special deal (or a special "incentive") for LOG members (not sure if we can but we will try!).....

remember, the DPLE's took a LONG time as well!

this one will be WELL worth the wait!!!

also remember that - once we order - it may take up to 8+ months to get depending on production back log etc....
