Any Kindle Users Here?

My Kindle Fire has been permanently parked next to the commode for games and TB.

Ha! Great minds think alike! That's exactly where my Fire is kept.

Honestly, that's about the Fire is good for. Way too slow for Internet surfing, and everything you do on it is tied to Amazon. And I mean EVERYTHING.

My Kindle, on the other hand, gets used several hours every day since 2012. I'm an avid reader, usually going through 6-10 books per month. Currently on my second one, a Paperwhite that's about 2-3 yrs old now. My Kindle will be the first thing I grab when Armageddon hits...gotta have something to do post-apocalypse.

The fire was a massive disappointment. I gave mine to my daughter. All the adds and crap. My original Nook E is still going strong. As of this morning I have read 96 weeks in a row it informed me.

Yes, my wife and son both have the latest models and love them. They both read books on them, but my wife also plays a lot of games in hers. Can't go wrong for $30!
