I'm a mom. I have two sons who are now both grown, but when I was playing bass in a nu-metal band my youngest son was in high-school and then college. When he first went to one of our rehearsals, he told me that was the band he always dreamed of playing in.

By the way, I just gifted him with my black Jackson 5-string bass, the one like Megadeth's Dave Ellefson played (probably for five minutes just long enough to get the endorsement.) I customized mine with a 3-D skull and crossbones on the body of the bass. Never did much care for the tone on that bass. Also, the B-string was always breaking...which might have been more because the band tuned down so low.

I don't now why you are asking if there are any bass-playing moms here, but I am one.

I'm a bass playing/keyboard playing Mom of 4 kids. Two boys, two girls.

I'm still trying to work out what a BILF is  But perhaps it's better I don't know!

Let us know about the arrival of your new baby Bassteban, although you may not have much time to get on the computer inbetween all the feeding and changing and looking after your wife :D

Miss P, check out the thread entitled 'Shootin' off the ol' baby cannon' for pics of Sophia Elise Thornbrugh, now 6 days old. :hyper:

Your new baby Sophia Elise sure looks beautiful Bassteban, congratulations! When you know it's your last baby, they always seem that little bit more special.

Oh, and I'm very grateful to Eldave that I now know what BILF means. Hmmm, I'm so glad I didn't ask any "innapropriate" questions of my friends to find out what it meant, as most of my friends are in the band I play for at church  Hehe, I would have got into big trouble (as usual!) :hiding:
