I mean little things you like to do for yourself during the holiday season. Even if you share them with others, they're just those things that bring you a little joy this time of year.

Here are two sweet treats I indulge in at Christmas time:

I have a few other holiday traditions, but I'll start with those. So...do any of you have any foods, music, movies, TV specials, or other personal holiday traditions?

Every year, sometime during the week before Christmas, I watch Terry Pratchett's Hogfather on DVD with my family.

It's a 4 hour movie produced by Sky 1 (British) based on the fantasy novel of the same name from Pratchett's Discworld series.

The story is a parody/satire of Christmas where the Hogfather (Discworld's version of Santa Claus) disapperars on Hogswatch night (Christmas Eve).

Alarmed that nobody will get presents, Death (The Grim Reaper) dresses up in a red suit and a false beard and takes over the job of flying around the Discworld in a magic sleigh delivering presents while his granddaughter, Susan, goes on a mission to locate the missing Hogfather and bring him back.

Closing scene (SPOILER ALERT!):

I love holiday music, and I have Christmas/seasonal music for days...weeks, even! A huge variety. So I put my very favorite must-hear tunes on CDs (yep, I still listen to CDs!) to make sure I hear certain songs. I also have a lot of classical Christmas music that I like to listen to when I'm just chillin'.

Very profound thoughts in that clip from the Grim Reaper. You normally can't pay me to watch anything on TV, but that clips was superb.
