Any plans for a Rockbass version Thumb Bass?

I've been playing my 2011 Streamer LX 5 Rockbass ( which is about to get a nitro butterscotch blonde refinish:cool:) a lot over the last couple years and am amazed at the quality and versatility. With the growing selection of the Warwick Rockbass line, are there plans for a Rockbass Thumb in the future?

Hey I have a Blue Rockbass that Ive been considering refinishing with an oil finish after removing the existing finish which i assume is likely to be Poly resin. It's the stock finish whatever that is.

Im curious if you have any advise on what i should use to remove the finish, and any precautions regarding the look of the wood I'm going to find under there.

I am having it done professionally by a luthier friend. I think the body wood may be carolena-it's reasonably soft. The butterscotch nitro isn't a translucent, more of an "opaque" so im not really concerned with the quality of the grain. Do a search in the forums here for finish removal.

I'd buy one, but, having spent some time with a '98 Thumb NT5, I'd still want the real deal eventually. I have thought about getting a Pro Series, but again, I know I'd just ultimately want to get a German Thumb (plus I'm not keen on the HP or coloured finishes). If a RockBass Thumb was priced right (sub-$1000; the Pro Series Thumbs in Australia are around $1500), I'd be definitely interested in a 5er, though.

i dont think they will making the thumb as a rock bass, that model is basically warwicks flag ship, if they i think warwick will become just a regular company, they already have the pro series that is not german made, honestly i think that if they do the other german made thumbs will loose it value, i hope they dont, a used one will end up costing just as much as a new rock model one, just my 2 cents
