Any rasterbators?

For those of you that don't know what rasturbating is, it's taking a photo, and blowing it up into large posters sometimes taking up to 40 pages of standard letter paper.


This was my first one. My color printer wasn't working, plus I wanted to see how well I could do it. Pretty small. 34 x 33 inches, using 12 pieces of paper.

It's a great way to use up 40 pages worth of your school's color printer ink. Spite indeed.

I think it'd be worth wasting $4.00 (.10 a page at my school) for a huge poster like that, as opposed to 50 or 100.

A friend of mine works at a print shop, by that I mean, his dad is the owner and he works his ass off in all departments to keep the place together. If I ever needed a huge poster of a random picture made. He could do it for me.

Has anyone done this with a photo from a digital camera? Maybe I'll blow up a family photo and put it on the wall.

Dude...you're reading my mind. I'm counting up my photo paper right now to see if I have enough sheets to do a huge photo from our last family reunion. I'm talking 6' wide and 4' tall.

I tried to do one, but it said the server was busy! Now I see why!!!

That is awesome. I guess the other end depends on how nice of a printer a person uses.
