I noticed during my last venture into the darknet that they've actually got proper THC e-liquid on Silk Road - it's been many, many years since I last indulged in weed, but this was tempting. Shame I don't have any Bitcoins! :)

have you tried an evod head with a SS wick in the protank?

it's freaking amazing. flavor of a genny, yet pocket friendly.
just torch the crap out of the mesh before you roll it, and again once it's rolled (hold it sideways in needle nose) and you won't ever short it.

i have an evod head and a protank head both with SS - each have run through 4 or 5 coils ... so they are like 2 months old. every couple of weeks, i just pulled them apart, quick torch to clean, re-wrap w 32g (4 for 1.8Ω, 5 for 2.2Ω) and reinstall.

currently i have 2mm eko in both of them, just to try it out.

i also have a 3mm eko in my dud, 2.4Ω 30g micro ... not working so great. when this tank is dry i'm ripping it out and building something different.

the RSST has a 2mm 400ss mesh wick sleeved with 2mm eko, free wrapped 32g 2.7Ω ... and it just freaking rocks. been going through 4ml a day in it ...

i have a short piece of sleeved ss wick left over from where i trimmed the rsst wick ... that might make it's way into my RDA. it's too fat to use in a protank head ... and the eko is unravelling a little on the end with no SS in it. i think a vertical coil like i have now, with the frayed end on the atty deck ... i will probably have to plug the air hole on the deck though.

and a quick pic of the dual coil fog machine. i made up some 1mg 10/90 dk tab for this ... 12mg gave me a headache after 2 tokes ...

I got my igo-s and scar last night... the scar was built already so I popped it on my GLV and vaped all night. Loved it... dual coil, tons of flavor and fog.

Put it away in my bedside draw like I always do. When I got up this morning I went to spin the top cap off to see how dry it was and this happened to it

So I collected my stuff and brought it all to work. I don't have my kanthal ribbon (left Oakland Ca yesterday), but I stopped and got a package of organic cotton balls. Here is my very first build

It's working pretty well, but I will rebuild it AS SOON AS I get my ribbon.

I also got a quart of VG, I think I'm going to top off my 2/3rds full bottle of juice with it and see how that goes.

1. holy crap! i've heard of such things happening, mainly with the protanks ... but dayum.

2. you want that micro to really rock?
i do it like this - torch wire to anneal. wrap 12ish turns around micro screwdriver, as tight as i can get them. get my smallest needlenose pliers (heavy tweezers or hemos would work too) and gently squeeze until all coils are touching. torch the crap out of it for about 30 seconds, until the whole coil glows orange. i do this standing by the sink, with the cold water barely on. i take the flame off, and immediately quench under the running cold water.

it makes for a bulletproof coil, they stay touching, and strange thermal properties happen. you can vape a 2.2Ω coil and get 1Ω performance out of it, with the added battery life of a higher resistance. flavor is amazing with micros.

that is really kick ass for a first build ... it took me a couple of months to get the hang of it. annealing the wire first is key though.


i am getting an igo-w and a trident clone next. i got cotton sunday, but haven't used any yet - i been sick all weekend.

Thanks, I wrapped on a large safety pin.... No heat this go at it. I need to grab a small torch this week. It was pretty easy to make the coil, muscle memory kicked in from all the fly fishing flies I've tied and rod eyelets I've repaired.

I got my ribbon last night... here is my first go at it with the ribbon.

I am really digging this vape and look wise, but I'd like to find other 15mm or narrower RDA/RBA... any ideas?

Well, I wasn't happy with the coil, I felt it needed to be lower ohms and I couldn't get the cotton to stay properly. In fiddling with it I broke one of the legs and decided to start over (at about 2" per coil, this 100ft will last me FOREVER!).

I made a new one with longer legs and 8 wraps last night... now it's working nicely. I also threaded cotton strands through it instead of shoving a piece in it.

I'm digging how compact this thing is now... it isn't much taller than a 306.

Great job James! Man that wick is saturated.

How are you liking the ribbon? I did a ribbon on SS rope in an AGA-t2. At first it was GREAT, a million bucks but now it tastes burnt. So I am back to mesh. I've got a Kayfun Lite coming in the next day or two. Once I get it I'll post a photo with my Poldiacs.

Hey I'm even trying to make my own juice. $3-4 for a 30ml bottle.

Thanks... the size is so small, I only put a large drop or 2 at a time. I think the fact it is 100% VG makes it stick in the cotton like that.

I may try eventually. For now I'm cutting my 30ml bottles in half with some VG I bought from Amazon

I used to smoke almost a pack a day then ordered up a few ego twists + kanger t3's and a whole bunch of juice (Canadians, if you don't know about Jugheads, you must try his juice. jugheads.co)

It wasn't really doing the trick after about 6 months. I couldn't put the thing down, even with higher nic juices. This lead me into trying out Swedish snus. I broke one of my twists, and lost the other while I was drunk. I haven't looked back, and strictly use the snus.

JS3 is the intense menthol one right? It's way too much on its own but throw in 10 drops in 3mL if his organic strawberry that has steeped for a few months and I'm in heaven.

Might pick up a new battery from fasttech soon. Hmm
