Finally got a mod that I like!

That thing is AWESOME!

I know I said I was done... but since I haven't *actually* ordered my Hornet RA yet, I guess I haven't gone against my last post ;)

I just ordered a new mod, I've got almost 2 months to wait for it though.

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

It uses the same 16340 batteries as my GLV mini but has a little bit more clearance for RAs.

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I'm still going to order the Link Removed for my GLV on Friday and either a [This invalid link has been removed] or Link Removed for the Touchwood....

then I'll be done :bassist: (for a while) :hiding:

Here's a question for you guys...do you think that "vaping" is causing a new generation of kids to become addicted to nicotine? I asked because I see a lot of younger people (teens to early 20's) vaping everywhere I go. Are they really trying to stop smoking cigarettes, or just think vaping is cool and have started?...

I'm no expert by any stretch, just curious of your thoughts on this...thanks

Absolutely not... you need to flash ID for ecigs as much as you do for regular ones.

I've actually seen more teens with chew than ecigs.

While I *switched* to vaping to stop smoking cigs, I do not intend to stop vaping any time soon. I have reduced my nicotine from 24 mg/ml to 3mg/ml... so at this point it is the social and oral aspect I'm in it for.

That's the big bug in the ANTZ bonnet, isn't it. They're so afraid kids will go from vaping to cigarettes to get their nic fix. :eyebrow:
I highly doubt even kids are stupid enough to make that kind of switch. Would you go from something that tastes good to something that tastes like crud?
Some might, but I think most wouldn't. As far as the nic content goes, that's the other bee. (However, they will not bat an eye if a teen drinks coffee, caffeinated pop, or an energy drink. (Although there is some concern about the latter.))
Most of what I have seen and read, during my research when I started vaping, suggests that the anti-vaping crowd are trying to do three things. One is trying to keep people smoking as it supports the Gov't. through heavy taxation, support BP through sales of less than adequate "quit smoking" products, and control the behavior of everybody by crying foul at anything that even remotely looks like smoking. I realize some of this may come off looking like I'm a "conspiracy theorist", but these are things I've noticed.

If you want teens not to do something, tell them it's o.k. to do, and they won't. Tell them they can't do something and they will. It's been like that for many generations, so crying about them smoking/vaping will do no good. They'll do it anyway. (I do not condone teens using nicotine products of any kind, however. I also don't think teens should be drinking high caffeine energy drinks or booze either, but what can ya do, they're teens, and they know everything.)

*Rant mode off*

I [del]don't see it so much[/del]have never seen it here in Canada but you're not able to buy nicotine containing e cigs from the stores. On yahoo answers though, I see LOTS of under aged people asking how to get them even though they have never smoked in their life. It makes me shake my head..

Those 16340 mods are awesome!

I *STILL* haven't received anything from fasttech... over a month now!

I am rocking the Torched & Top Fed Hornet RA... and loving it!

quick synopsis of the last couple weeks:

1. igo-l is new all day dripper.
2. i hate ribbon wire.
3. a7 mini is great, but a pain to build.
4. gennies + cotton/micro = win
5. nic down to 10mg, next batch of base going to be 8mg.
6. 60/40 is now 50/50. as nic goes down, VG goes up. soon will be 40/60.
7. cherry vape tips are totally worth the $$. will buy more soon.

Those Cherry Vapes tips are great, I just can't do Acrylic any more... my cinnamon makes them gummy over time from dripping. I stepped up to some high grade metal one from Rocket Science... Invalid Link Removed (2 brass ones and a Stainless one... I might still order the Pyrex).

I also ordered a new top cap for my IGO-S... 17mm Brass one https://www.facebook.com/CapItAllVapes

I much prefer the Hornet RA to the IGO-S, but I *think* it is due to the weight and height of the cap. The bases of each are *very* similar. Hopefully the CapItAll top will do the trick!

I *LOVE* ribbon wire but have to agree that a Micro coil on cotton is a beautiful thing!

Congrats on the dropping nic levels. I'm still @ 6mg/ml and will stay here at this point... I have branched out on my juice... I have some "Shamrocky Shake" Sweetvapes that is pretty okay and I just ordered some juice from my mod maker (Great Lakes Vapor). "Cinnamon Brown Sugar" and "Sweet Fire and Ice".

That said, I'm still a month+ out on the ETA for my Touchwood Mini... and I have 2 orders from Fasttech that are still on the way (45 days already).

i really like the 25mm pyrex ...

The price hurt... I was originally going to order the 3 pack with one brass and two Pyrex+brass, but with the exchange rate being $ = £ x 1.6, I wasn't dropping $100 on tips for only one of my mods (that I don't even have yet!). As it was, I dropped $65 for a stainless one for my GLV and a brass one for the Touchwood... maybe I will sell the extra brass one to recoup some cost!

My new Innokin VTR. It's a LOT bigger and heavier than I expected but it's shorter (more pocket friendly) and more stable (won't roll around and less likely to tip over) than my Smoktech SID and the iClear 30 hits like a baseball bat.

very nice! I've been curious about them since the prerelease photos hit FB.

My CapItAll cap has arrived (very nice, very solid... haven't tried it yet), the drip tips are still crossing the pond, and I was emailing with the maker of my Touchwood and he claims it will be ready on the 28th!

Just ordered the Innokin iTaste MVP 2.0. They seem to get a lot of love over at the e-cigarette forum. There's a 198 page mega thread on 'em.
Mad Vapes is having a sale with the Gripper for $10, and the Bolt for $15.95. I like the Bolt a lot, but I'd advise against the chrome Bolt, it has a different switch (chrome colored) from the others, and didn't last as long as my other Bolt (black switch). The upgrade switch I got for my chrome is much nicer.
The Gripper worked well until it didn't. I probably got 4 or so months of daily, heavy use out of it. Totally worth $10.
If anyone is looking for a backup, I don't think you could do better than the Bolt for $15.95.

Smoked my last cigarette today. I bought the Joyotech e-GoT and a couple of clearomizers as a "starter kit" from Digital Ciggs in Santa Rosa and switched off and on yesterday while finishing my last pack of cigarettes. So far I haven't had any cravings and the vapor already tastes better than the smoke

I'm going to subscribe and read up on this whole thread tomorrow
