any techniques on slapping a hofner club bass?

so you guys already know I play a Hofner ignition club bass and all that stuff but I wanna do something no one has done a Hofner club bass, SLAP.

any techniques that would be prefered for the Hofner would be great because we don't have a drummer yet

The techniques that would be used on a Hofner are the same used on every other bass.

Er...why.
Is that the only bass you have?

First thing that comes to mind.
Action, therefore bounce, Sound, strings.

It could be funky and different but it is very unlikely to be conventional in terms of sound.

My slap technique blows. I’d be afraid I’d break it. Jazz or even a Ric, not an issue. Not knocking Hofner: love the sound, but have owned two and they just felt sort of fragile, which they are, compared to my warhorses.
