thin necks make my hands cramp
Nope. Thousands of Warwick players and none of us like the necks![]()
I don't think I'll start taking ergonomic advice from kids hanging a bass low to the point where that 2nd octave is unplayable.
The Streamer I played in the mid 90's had maple wings, maple neck, and probably a wenge fingerboard with MEC PJ and active electronics. It had a wonderful thin neck, perfect balance, very resonant, and very light. If they still made 'em exactly like that, I'd be in line to get one.
I always thought the neck on my Streamer LX was considerably thinner than most basses I've played, and that's exactly why I loved it. Felt great!
