i play in a country band, but hate country (it pays bills)

i love stoner rock past, present, and future, but have never once been high or done any illegal drug.

does that make me a hypochrite? well, maybe the country part. the rest, i don't care about. music should be universal. it should touch whomever it will touch, and move whomever it will move. if my father gets down on Ray Wiley Hubbard and Emery, who am i to say he's wrong?

Mmh music... err all the band shirts I have are from Death Metal and Grindcore bands, but I kinda only listen to these Genres once a month (I like psych rock and early prog better these days)

Nope. When I start liking a genre I force myself to fit the stereotype that goes along with it.

I'm a 52 yr old dude mostly into blues blues/rock but I do listen to a wide variety of music. One of my guilty pleasures is Gwen Stefani. Picturing myself trying to fit the stereotype that goes along with that is hilarious to me.
