Anyone a hipokrit with music?

I am at a point where I am totally indecisive about EVERYTHING regarding music, so liking anything totally goes against everything else I may or may not be about.
haha, I love how this stupid concept for a thread generated some pretty hysterical responses.
Most "values" in genres are not really something to be taken too seriously. For example, probably only a minority of black metal musicians are actually Satanic...
That said, it is a drag when lyrical matter that's supposed to be taken seriously does clashes a lot with personal beliefs. I encounter that sometimes with reggae (when it's devoutly spiritual) and punk (when it spouts out juvenile crap that is just.. annoying...)

I don't think hypocrite is the right word here. Its more like "people who listen to music that they probably shouldn't, considering everything else about them"

I hate overly commercial music, but like Cheap Trick.
I have short hair, get good grades in school, don't really rebel against my parents too much (they're usually pretty chill though, so I don't really need to), and live in an upper middle class suburb. And yet, I ****ing love metal.
Also, my history teacher (who's a fat, white, Jewish man is his late 50's) listens to rap and apparently goes to rap concerts. He's allowed to, because he's actually pretty cool.
And NONE of you can top this guy:

I've dubbed the perfect all inclusive what-I-like genre as "Blackend-Stoner Death-Dronegaze Doom-Sludge"
Im not Scandinavian, not a satanist (more along the lines of sorta-Buddhist [go figure...]) and only smoked a handful of times. Im a short, white descendant of English (as in England) blood with a bad (not bad ass, just bad...) beard (flecks of red indicate some Scottish maybe?) and bad teeth (English, remember ). Apparently NOT what most people would figure for a person that listens to the above, and more like it....Also, do I really care what other people listen to? **** no.
There is one uptight/square/general douche where I work that turns his nose up at anything "metal". He was totally surprised when when I mentioned that I was down with shoegaze, and was like "hmm... getting better". I figure: His loss.
