Anyone actually have a Pedulla MVP?

I actually first became aware of these when I saw Gene Simmons playing one but I saw another video of Doug Johns demo'ing the MVP 4 and that thing both sounds and looks beautiful. Love that clarity and the extra bark. I checked their website and holy damn are they expensive. I'm mainly wondering about the neck and how it feels.

My all-time favorite store moment "wow" bass was an MVP hanging on the wall at a Guitar Center some time in the mid 90s. The Pedulla neck profile is a flat V shape that a lot of guys find very comfortable right away, especially on the wider 19mm spacing of the five string basses.

There's a 1988 model for sale on talk bass classifieds now
at least it was there last weekend.

I'm intrigued myself, but ... I just don't know $1700 for a 1988. with some tuners replaced
from research I did over the weekend tuners seem to be a minor problem in a couple of cases

I might bite for $1500 and one from this century

Me too, man! It was an MVP4 at GC. I couldn't believe how fast and smooth the action was and it sounded awesome. I also loved the look.

Guys, this thread isn't helping me. An MVP4 is perhaps my most intense current GAS target. I remember playing them in the late 80s/early 90s back when a local chain store carried them, but at that time they were totally out of my league, both financially and otherwise. I know someone who recently picked one up, and so far its rave reviews for them. Here I was thinking (hoping?) that 2015 would be a year free of NBD, but I'm increasingly doubting this...

Here's a really nice one.

Hope this helps.

One of my handful of "bass regrets" was getting rid of a Pedulla Buzz (fretless MVP). For my hands, the neck was great, rounded but not ballbat thick. Very comfy. And I liked the Bartolini PJ configuration a lot. I got it for a song, too. Boy, was I a moron.

I would like to say that I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has screwed up this badly(I had a GORGEOUS PentaBuzz AND an MVP!), but I'm really not.

I, too, am a HUGE moron...:(

I'm going to be on the lookout for another PentaBuzz after I fix some other screw-ups...
