anyone ditch they're Programable BDDI for a regular one?

Thinking about changing over to a regular BDDI. I've found that I initially spent allot of time creating and saving settings that were super distinctive and cool. Now I have come to realize that for my playing style I only use one like 99% of the time either on or off.

anyone else go through this too? maybe an oppertunity to see what all the VT hype is about?

I didn't purposely ditch the programmable version. I sold mine when I got my pod live xt thinking it wasn't needed and then I got a Sansamp BDDI through a trade. I love it but I think I would prefer the programmable version simply because I like to have louder sounds for solos and maybe a thicker tone for quiet parts. Wanna trade?

I've considered getting rid of mine to get some more pedalboard space. But the thing I like about it (other than the sansamp sound, which I enjoy but which isn't for everybody) is that I can optimize sounds for different basses. That's its main function--when I switch out between basses, I can just hit a switch and all the levels and eq is good, rather than having to turn knobs.

Exactly. I had a Carvin BB75 and a Lakland 55-01 fretless and would switch between the two through a show. Made life easier. And lordy did the sound guy love me for it!
