Anyone else find a bass without strings sort of....cringe?

Makes them look more like a deluxe boat paddle to me. Not a cringey thing, just strange. Picking one up without strings is even stranger….

Don’t know but I would certainly recommend the one with the highest output you can find.

Many bass necks I saw overtime that were unusable were either left without any strings and the truss rod not properly adjusted/loosened or the other way around where the neck looked like a banana because of an overtightened truss rod with loose or elongated strings.
No strings on a bass for sale : no way for me !

Here's one that does make me cringe. Facebook ad for a completely unloaded bass. The seller calls it a "husk". Just freaky and gross sounding to me.
