Anyone else have a Gibson Victory?

I'm not the least bit surprised you have one. ha ha...okay, I'm jealous.
I'm considering buying a Victory Bass off of ebay or Reverb. I'm a P-Bass guy and have been for the past 4 years. I have a 2005 MIA Fender Standard P, which is my #1 bass. I've never played a Victory or, that I can remember, ever seeing one in person. I'm 55 and vividly recall seeing the ad back in high school in 1981 for the Victory Bass in either Hit Parader or Guitar Player, the one with Dave Kiswiney, who was Ted Nugent's bass player at the time, where he said, "It's a Gibson, man." And ever since then, for 38 years, I've been wanting one. But I'm concerned about its weight and neck diameter compared to my P-Bass.
There's a 1982 Victory "Standard" on GC's website (Orlando) for $849.99 that says it's Silver, but looks more green to me. Plus it has four small holes, two on either side of the bridge, like maybe it had a different larger bridge on it at one time but now has the original bridge back on it. I thought of buying it and having it repainted silver or red. And it does come with a case.

I did have a Yamaha BB614 that was a little heavy, probably a pound or two heavier than my P-Bass, so a Victory bass would probably be similar in weight.

Recently joined. Saw this stuff, just wanted to say I own four of them. I am obviously addicted.
I came across a green one this week at Guitar Showcase. Took it off the hook, nearly pitched over, put it back on the hook and backed away...
The average weight of the three Standard’s and one Custom I own is 13.261 pounds. The good news is that Santa brought me a KLIQ Air Cell strap to help out, works great!
How would you compare them to a P bass? I have a Victory bass that was bought new by my wife's mother in the early eighties. It's the only bass I have ever had during my 3 years of playing. I was thinking about getting a Custom Shop P-bass, but maybe I don't realize what I already have. My Gibson is in very good condition, and the weight doesn't bother me because I don't know any better, since it's the only bass I've owned.
