anyone else thinking about a micro amp?

Hey guys. I've been using smaller a smaller rigs and am really diggin the quality and sound of the some of the smaller cabs.

My head isn't huge. I'm using an Alembic F1-X with a single space Stewart World power amp all together in a 4 space rack they are as big or bigger than my GS112 or BagEnd S15-D.

I'm starting to think I might as well downsize further and get a micro head to fit in my gig bag. One less thing to carry right?

Anybody have any input on any of these especially as compared to another? Reliability, sound, etc..

I live in smaller town so the GK MB2-500 is the only one I'm able to try out before hand and was pretty impressed so far.

Shuttle 6.0 is 375w@8ohms and 600w@4ohms. Surprised you don't have the Markbass amps on your list.

I have really taken to my MB2-500. Very loud, clean, tight sounding amplifier. Was gonna wait for the MB Fusion but let my GAS get the better of me. After A/Bing it against a full size Fusion 550 (same preamp as MB Fusion) I am glad I did.

There are alot of excellent micros on the market today. I use the EA micro (new one) and love it. Like Simon says you're going to going to see personal preference come in to play on this one.

I did find a youtube [ ] that abc'd the RH450, Ibanez Promethean and the Genz 6.0

As of now I'm leaning towards the GK MB2-500 because of price/sound/simplicity. I intentionally left out Markbass because so far I have disliked every Markbass amp I've tried out [3 different ones]. I am also assuming that the micro SWR and Eden sound like their big brothers which I'd like to avoid.

Another vote for the RH450.
Easily the BEST amp I've ever used..and I've used pretty much everything out there.

I too have tried a few Markbass amps and they were not for me, I purchased an RH450 with the 212 and after a few rehearsals and 2 gigs I returned it, I loved the features but just could not get into the tone (not really into the "rock grind" I guess).
Now I am using a Genz Shuttle 6.0 and really digging it, simple to use, great clean tone with plenty of punch and volume. Plus you could pick up a used one fairly cheap.

I have only seen ads for them.
They seem interesting, I wonder how well they works.
