Anyone have a Jazz Bass Mute Kit?

I’m looking a for a jazz bass mute kit. It’s for my 1961 jazz bass reissue. Anyone have one to spare?

I'm considering making one because I can't find one.
I will use stainless steel spring steel then he will not rust.
I only need to know if the white felt is firm or hard when you apply a pressure on it.
