Drugs I can do without, illegality and addiction does not bode well with me. Booze though, why not?
Why not to booze? It is addictinblah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...

Why not to booze? It is addicting although not in the ways most people think of the term as far as drugs. It doesn't do a thing for me, doesn't taste good at all to me (beers, liquors, etc..) and I have plenty of damn fun without it. Plus someone has to drive people around and actually remember the funny stuff that goes on.
I also wasn't aware straightedge meant the whole vegan scene too. Around here the term is mostly used for people who stay away from just drugs and alcohol.
Might have to do something with the ban on premarital sex in a lot of corners, pockets, areas, memberships, hordes, etc.And what makes you think straight-edged people don't enjoy women? haha
I have a level of self control, I don't need booze to have fun but it's a good social lubrication. I know people who on heroine and such, people who lives have been ruined by drugs. I've got a decent level of self control, but even I wouldn't try my luck with anything like that...
ha so you are a chav! mayhem was right![]()

Seriously. L O effing L at straight edge. Life is too dumb to live without vice.
Well heroine is just flat out dangerous... IMO. I'm a firm believer in listening to warning signs. How may heros have been slain by heroine? Or movies been made about people deteriorating on heroine? SO I don't need to try that for myself...
Now I don't need alcohol, or even a Newcastle beer for that matter, but I want one. In fact, I want one right now.... Right 'o - whose buying?![]()
I hung round with them, I was sociable with some of the lads, I listen to dance and drum and bass music and club (though I detest rave), I am not averse to wearing trackies, football tops and trainers, I can swear for England and I am perhaps a bit of a rogue. Not a chav per se but I got along with them, canny lads.
And Maki- The Broon Ales are on me!(Of the "dogs" as some Geordies call them)

SWEEET. CHRIS IS BUYING!!!!![]()

Why are people saying it's dumb if you don't want to drink?
I choose not to drink because I'm just not interested. It's not something I want to be involved with. Does that make me weird? Should I be ridiculed, beat up, or outcast for the simple fact that I just don't really want to drink?
By that logic, everyone who just doesn't like to drink coffee should suffer the same fate.
I think we should go down to the pub and discuss this over a drink.
