Anyone into metal detecting?

My wife gave me an entry level detector (Go Find 22.) I have a house on 3 acres that is part farm land, part wooded area. So far, I've found tons of old barbed wire and nothing else. It is relaxing though.

1) From professional experience, barbed wire and concertina razor wire is super cool stuff.
2) I'm not personally into it (yet) but I'm not going to lie that I could see an older pie man doing it when he gets a bit more settled down.
