anyone know of a splitter and combiner?

I was thinking about running two signals, but I don't have the cash to be buying another amp. I was thinking I could build a splitter to plug my bass into, then run one wet and the other dry and at the end have another box to combine them. I was also thinking of building a blender into this combiner box so I can get one line higher than the other. Before I start really thinking about doing this does anyone know of a company that already makes this product?

It sounds to me like you need a looper with a blend control, or am I missing something?

Boss LS-2 will get this done. But there is a much better (but sadly more expensive) solution. The Xotic X-Blender. Do a google search, or search on this board, you'll find it.

i am not sure what your trying to do..in order to get the benefits of having a wet and dry signal you realy need 2 amps...or are you trying to do sort of an effects loop with a blend knob kinda thing..like on swr amps?

Just got a Boss LS-2 and must say it's amazing! It's nice to forget all about keeping the lows when using effects

A boss ls-2 and an old guv'nor with the mids and highs cranked, the bass knob rolled off, you sound like Tim Commerford on the first Audioslave album. Very 'gnarly'/'growly' thick overdrive that cuts through!

or just a splitter, hosa makes little Y cables that will do this trick, or a sturdier solution would be the same thing in a metal box, which you could make or have www.loop-master.com make for you (2 in's 1 out, or vice versa doesn't really matter).

I do this with my signal, I run a pedal with stereo out's and run the two signals to different paths of my pedal board, then join them back up after another stereo pedal into a splitter. The effect is getting a clean sound blended with my effects. And since I run different effects on both halves of the chain I can combine effects together while keeping there sounds seperate so things do not get muddy and overloaded.
