Anyone live in Portland, OR? Help needed.

Hey all,
Im an Aussie living in Canada. I want to come down to Portland for music fest northwest. Particularly for Mudhoney.
Im wondering if anyone in Portland would be able to put me up for a couple of nights? I could return the favour if you come to whistler, or can somewhat compensate you with beer or food. Unfortunately Im not in a position to really afford a hotel at the moment.

+1 on Couch Surfing. A couple of friends of mine went across Europe for 2 months and heavily used CS to find places to stay. It worked out extremely well for them.
