Anyone need a 28-string bass bridge?

that means that in many places in europe, the term "chord" is used for the string on an instrument.QUOTE]

I haven't seen that actually. "Cuerda" is the Spanish word though, which is obviously related, and probably something similar exists in Portuguese and Italian.

Where I live, a string is called snaar, and our friendly eastern neighbours call it Seite.

I love the idea of a modular bridge like that. If N. Hayashi could shrink the size of the modules some, and at the same time make each able to handle five or ten times the tension, we could dispense with pinblocks in pianos altogether, and make piano tuning a lot simpler.

Hate to be a Debbie Downer, but, it looks to me as if that is a fake Photoshop. If you look below the bridge, the shadows are messed up and look as if it was just repeated over and over again.

I may be wrong but it just looks too fishy to me to believe.

Furthermore:

Because as for the brass as for the cutting lubricant almost there is no necessity, job is easy. The aluminum and the iron the cutting lubricant are necessary. Because while job the oil scatters, the clothing and the hand become dirty immediately. I when fumbling the wood, in order when for smell of the machinery oil to do, am disliked from around. When feeling has pounded, it does not designate such a thing at all as the air. It is the smell of symbolizing the person who works diligently. It is something where this the father is ill-smelling. It is defeated to noise! Persevering! Middle-aged craftsman!

i like the pic next to it

actually like John Turner said on the first page, they are just showing that it can be done...they aren't planning on making a 28 string bass...
