Anyone ordered from MF lately?

And today I get yet another backorder notice stating "due to an unusually large response, we are temporarily out of stock on the items you have ordered. ....on order...expect soon. ....will receive priority upon receipt.....very sorry..... expect to ship within [another] 30 days." Yet their website still says "In stock and available for shipping!".

I'll let it slide and just get it whenever it gets here. Probably my last deling with this company. Thanks to the wonder of the internet (thanks Al!) and UPS, the consumer world is my oyster! I don't like being "handled".

Buy, buy!

I ordered two items from AMS on Monday. One shipped from New Jersey and the other from Reno. Both got here today (Wednesday). AMS dominates MF.

Yep, I love AMS, I ordered almost all of my stuff I have now from them, most of it came from the NJ warehouse, living two states over makes it nice and easy. Even from the reno warehouse it is still faster than MF/Music123/amazon

I live in Kansas City, and I've visited MF's old and new warehouse locations a few times. The new one is about 5 miles away from the old one, and it seems to be a lot bigger.

What's nice is that they have a large retail store connected to the warehouse where they mostly scratch & dent items, close-out items, and a little bit of brand new stuff. It's a fun place to browse. Although I don't really understand why they have to sell damaged items -- why wouldn't the manufacturer just take it back?
