Anyone tried a Cali 4 fretless?

Thinking of ordering a fretless Cali from the guys at Mayones, but not sure how the scale affects the playability of a fretless instrument. Can you still get good intonation? Is the end of the fretboard just for show?

The end of the fingerboard is designed to give the A string a more pointed tone.

Oh I see I was just wondering if fat or even regular sized fingers would muddle the intonation on the higher frets cause everything is sooo tiny

Violinist don't seem to have any problem with that sort of thing, so no, it would be down to playing technique.
