Anyone tried out the new Laguna basses?

I ask the question more out of curiosity, than anything. I already own a blonde 5-string Ocean, one of the first batch of basses in their stable. Great bass - solid construction, extremely flexible, with a smooth, almost crystalline tone. Almost the complete opposite of my Warwick, come to think of it. Well, tone-wise, at least. The Warwick is built like a tank.

Anyhow, from the looks of their website, they've released a pair of new electric basses that seem quite different than the original Oceans: bolt on construction, dual MM pickups, different hardware, and a fancy spalted maple top. Not quite as pretty as the wenge racing stripes on the Ocean, but then again, I'm biased.

So, I imagine some of you have come across them at a GC near you - how did they sound?
