Anyone use a Blackstar Unity 250act powered cabinet?

I have searched to death and can find very, very little info on real world usage.

This looks like a great answer for those looking for a powered cabinet to run a preamp pedal into for use at home.

Anyone here own one? Have used one in this way? If so, can you give feedback?

Sorry, I’m late seeing this thread. I have one of these and would be happy to provide feedback. For use at home it’s been great -I run my hxstomp into it.

Unfortunately all I have to compare it to right now though is my fender acb50, which while it also has a 15” eminence speaker that might be similar, it has a tube preamp and power amp. If I run the same preset into each, the Blackstar sounds “brighter” to me. I’m actually going to try running the DI out from the back of the fender into the blackstar today and test using it as an extension of sorts to get more volume and see if it sounds like the fender amp then. I’ll report back!

Well, the DI out test was a failure because it’s mic level - but running the “post power amp” line level 1/4” out of the fender amp to the blackstar cabinet was excellent and damn that would be super loud. When running straight from the HX Stomp to the Blackstar cab, I found it sounded better to me with a cab sim added (I was using the 810 svt cab in the HX stomp with the normal svt amp). Getting it up off my hardwood floors was much better too.
