Anyone using "to do" lists?

I keep a spiral-bound notebook on my desk and write down To-Do tasks manually, with a blue or black pen. When I complete the task, I strike through it with a red pen. Seeing page after page of red strike-throughs gives me an incredibly satisfying sense of accomplishment.

I do the same thing, but electronically using an iPad app:

I have eliminated most paper from my life.

You'll note I am really taking on the day here........

I lose the list. Seriously. So I just go with what seems to need doing or alternately whatever somebody is screaming the loudest about.
Even when I don't lose the list I will go wherever and still forget something or mess up royally. Oh my poor single burnt out brain cell.

I have an app I use. I need it or I would just wander around thinking I have nothing to do.
Dated a compulsive list maker once. We were sitting at her kitchen table and I was waiting for her to complete a list she was making. Then she started another list. I asked where her list of lists she had to make was. Without looking up she took the bottom sheet from her stack of papers and slid it across the table to me. It was her list of lists.
