Anything else close to a Ken Smith 6?

The reasons for a half through neck is that the bass gets similar stability to an all through, but the luthier can yield two necks from the single neck billet.
An all through construction is the most wasteful of all the bass neck construction types, especially with an angled back (un-spliced) head stock. The least wasteful is a bolt on headless. The neck component is tiny compared to a through neck with an angled back head stock.

You are simply pumping yourself up about your choice because someone else spent a lot less money and bought a very nice bass that sounds similar to yours. Lots of great bassists have used Cirruses in lots of professional settings. The Cirrus, Ken Smith, and Sadowsky modern all have two big soapbar pickups in the same location, and get a similar sound. I owned a Smith. I have a Cirrus. I have played a ton of basses, and listened to lots of music in my time, and think they sound similar. If you think the Smith is a better bass, that's wonderful, but Cirrus owners like me feel that outside of resale value, a Smith has got nothing on a Cirrus.

I'm glad you mentioned the Sadowsky Modern...I just heard that recently and could've sworn it was a Ken Smith at first! It's a pretty dope bass, as is the Cirrus. I haven't played any of these 3, but the similarities in tone are undeniable. That being said, they all have their own voices and are great choices at 3 different price points. You can't deny the level of quality you're getting with hand-built from scratch instrument like a Ken Smith, but that's what you're paying for. But if you like that kind of sound, look and feel, but don't want to pay $5K+ for it, the Cirrus (1/5 the price of a KS) and Sadowsky Modern (1/2 the price of a KS) are great options. Trust me, the people in the audience will not care! lol
