What I think I'd like to complete my Nano pedalboard is something like the Broughton Always-on HPF, but a noise gate. Put that under the board so it doesn't waste any space and then put it before the DI at the end so that any noise or hiss picked up by the bass or cables or compressor would be nulled until you start playing. I can hit the tuner and do something similar, I guess, would just like something that would make it dead quiet instead of mostly quiet with minimal effort.

The big chrome ISP pedal gets good reviews so I would think that the tiny one would work well.

ISP Technologies DECI-MATE Micro Noise Reduction Pedal

Looking for something that would fit under the pedalboard like the Broughton always on. I’ve seen buffers like this from JHS and a few others, the [sfx] Thumpinator is a similar concept. I've just never seen a noise gate in this format. You need to watch some noise gates, they're designed to give that djent quick cutoff sound. I think it was the pigtronix that I tried that would have been perfect for djent, but terrible for normal playing

Seems the DECI-MATE micro could be modded to fit. Remove the footswitch and knob. The potentiometer could be left for adjustment, just cut down the shaft.

Seems to be almost exactly the same size as the BAOHPF with the footswitch and knob/shaft removed.
